The arrival of a newborn should be one of life’s most joyful experiences. For some families, that joy is quickly overshadowed by uncertainty and fear when they learn that their child has Down syndrome and is facing serious medical challenges associated with Trisomy 21. Young Champion Foundation exists to remind these families that they are not alone. With our donors’ help, we provide encouragement, practical assistance, and hope as families navigate the journey of raising their young champion. We also support families grieving the loss of an infant with Trisomy 21, offering compassion and care through an unimaginable season of life.
Inspired by the journey with our own young champion, our mission is to support families with infants facing medical challenges and developmental disabilities, as well as families grieving the loss of an infant.
